Default Resistors ID.

I got given a carrier bag full of NOS resistors off Freecycle, green body; are they fusable resistors? No ID on plastic bags apart fom a few have "Verospeed" printed on them. See pics.

Probably Metal Oxide and fire resistant by design. More than likely the 0.33R are 3Watt.

verospeed, that's a blast from the past. Their big thick catalogue was on our shelves next to the STC, RS and Farnell one. They carried some things that you just couldn't get from elsewhere.

Agree they look like metal oxide, probably wouldn't have been cheap if they're uk made ones.

Thanks Kevin. They feel good quality as they're heavy. They were from the proverbial "my Grandad's shed" on Freecycle, a carrier bag full, so weather Grandad worked for Verospeed or worked somewhere where stuff walked, who knows. I've kept a few & given away over a thousand, as you say, must have cost a few bob back in the day.

Andy.
