Default CG Rf amplifier

Hi

Want to build this circuit but firstly want to calculate (from 50 MHz - 100 MHz), simulate and build the Rf amplifier Q1 (Drain terminated in a resistor).. Calculate s11, s21 then compare with simulation. No progress yet

I have RF microelectronics by Behzad Razavi, the equation uses (a capacitance not........)

Please kindly assist... Is trying to "understand" the amplifier like this, not a good point to take from the schematic?

Thankss...

Default Re: CG Rf amplifier

That being a suoer regenerative receiver with a common gate input amp, I wouldn't like to think how a simulator would handle it in reality as it is ALMOST/Is an oscillator.
