Re: BVWS Biggleswade Meet & AGM - March 12th 2023
Hope to attend, depends on how the weather acts as it is 400 miles round trip.
If I make it I will be bringing cash, will just have to hide what I buy. Adrian |

Re: BVWS Biggleswade Meet & AGM - March 12th 2023
(Posted on behalf of the Wireless Museum team)
The Biggleswade Bring & Buy will operate as usual. Multiple item entry forms are attached below. If you've got stuff for the B&B and are queuing for admission, please try to make contact with us and we'll do our best to get your stuff logged and straight on to the stall. There are 2 ways to sell stuff on the B&B. 1: Donation - with 100% going to the Vintage Wireless Museum. This is easy for us because there's no admin for labels, lists etc. 2: Sales with 10% commission to the Museum. If you have more than 3 or 4 items it helps us a lot if you can complete a numbered list with prices before you arrive, using the form attached below. Add in any lower price you can accept in the Offers column. We try to sell at the best price we can! Remember to stick corresponding numbered price labels on each item. Leave space before the number so we can add a unique serial letter to each label. We can do labelling/listing on the day but it really slows things down for everyone at busy times. The B&B will probably close by about 2pm depending on demand. If you've sold anything you can collect the proceeds at any time. Unsold items (even donated) need to be collected before 2pm. Unfortunately, we don't have facilities to dispose of unsold items. Attached is the suggested listing sheet (Word and pdf formats) if you have more than a few items. See you all there - not long now... Richard Stow BVWTM Chairman

See you there! First one for me for quite a while. I have a couple of things for the Bring & Buy too. Looking forward to it although I'm only there for a while.

What a super meeting, great venue and really well attended, thanks to all those who organised this and to the BVWS Committee for the AGM and running the society on behalf of the members.
A special mention to Paul Stenning for all his work on the Website and his 21 years on the committee and doing a great job ensuring the stability of the society.

Re: BVWS Biggleswade Meet & AGM - March 12th 2023
Lovely meeting, worth being a stallholder for the people you meet. I shifted far more stuff than I thought I might, some for more than expected, some almost given away, all needing moving on so I have room for new ideas. And it's great fun.
Thanks everyone. Tony |

It goes without saying Paul has done a great job both for the BVWS and of course this forum and I am sure I am correct in saying we are all very grateful.
Thank You!

Re: BVWS Biggleswade Meet & AGM - March 12th 2023
Can I add my personal thanks to all those Committee members who helped out on setting out and tidying up the halls we used at Biggleswade. And especially to society members Richard Page and Stuart Rose who volunteer their time as marshals on the day, heaving furniture, manning doors and sweeping floors.
Without all this huge support, Biggleswade would be impossible to run. And thanks to all those who visited on the day in large numbers, helping to give the event a real buzz and making it all worthwhile for all of us. See you all in September! -Jeremy
