Default Capacitor info needed.

Hi everyone
This capacitor came from a Canadian[Viking] radiogram that i featured here recently . there's about eight of them this one tests bad but what i want to know is are they polarized [is the red end indicating positive ? .Any ideas folks .Perhaps some of our friends across the Atlantic may be able to shed some light

Hello. A 0.1 uf cap is unlikely to be polarised.

Not polarised as such, but the mark may indicate the end connected to the outer foil, which should go to the lower impedance point.

As Ted says, not polarised but indicating outer foil. It doesn't matter which way you connect it but in some audio circuits you will get less hum if the foil end is connected to earth. I don't think it matters at all with modern caps.
