Default Tricity Fanfare

As some of you know I have a love for old cookers , and have recently acquired a 1978 Tricity Fanfare freestanding double oven, with one of the very early ceramic hobs.

The hob is stained and I think it’s under the glass - pictures attached. If that is the case how easy is it to remove this glass and clean the backside? It’s otherwise very presentable. Many thanks
