Default Retrotech

Mods delete if inappropriate, thanks, John.
I was just wondering if there is any way of finding out what is on offer for sale at the above event, I’m not able to make it this year ? Thanks

If my past experience is anything to go by, it can be hard enough knowing what's for sale even if you're there ! I've seen pictures that people have posted of bargains they've picked up and which I would certainly have had if only I'd been sharper-eyed !

Since it's been so long since the last full-scale event I suspect there will be all sorts of treasures that people have accumulated.

For what it's worth, I've just finished testing a CV250A 250V Volstat which will be on my stall. It's giving a rock steady 242V true RMS out into a 200W incandescent load with input voltages ranging from 199V all the way to 266V ! But enough of the cheeky advertising ...

Cheers,

GJ

Thank for replying, I realise there is a lot of good stuff on offer, I’m after a bsr ua15 deck.

Be interesting to see if the wider scope of Retrotechuk produces some good stuff! Sadly I wasn’t able to dig out some early IBM PCs but did find a nice Thorn 1400 dual standard portable TV which will be on my stall and a pre-war RAF R1082.

There is no pre event list of what stallholders will be bringing. Most are individuals not businesses and they'll load their car up with stuff they no longer want and put it up for sale on their stalls. As simple as that really.

These must come up on ebay from time to time if you keep an eye out. Probably fitted to one of the less desirable makes of record player - so long as postage is an option. Obviously no discussion about the auction site to keep within the rules!

Couldn't get there I'm afraid, no petrol 😉

Sounded good though.
