Default W W Whatley

Hello All

I've downloaded a scan of the Heathkit QM-1 Q meter instruction manual and I notice that it has the name W W Whatley written on it. I fact there are two or three of these scans around in the www, and they all seem to be the same.

Does anyone know who Mr Whatley is/was?

best regards ... Stef
