Default £3 component drawers at Wilkos

Hi All

I thought it may be of interest that currently Wilkos are selling 17 drawer portable caddies for just £3, usually £11. They're useful for components, with each of the smaller drawers having the option to be divided into two sections, with removeable barriers. Unfortunately, only available in store

I ended up taking advantage of that deal and buying 8 of the things to use at my workbench

Did you read the reviews ?.
I once bought such drawers years ago, I still have a "mixed nuts " bucket.

You get what you pay for.

Joe

It is round here: when I looked earlier, there was one in Whitehaven and three in Lancaster. Everywhere else said "out of stock".

I originally came across them by being in store, but for £3 they seemed okay to me. The only review I could see about them is the drawers slid out. I haven't had that issue as the drawers I have have slight "latches" on the bottom, so need an extra tug to open them, so they may have fixed that issue, or maybe mine aren't holding enough weight in the drawers to force them open.. They're definitely not the best quality things though that's for sure!

As for the stock, I had to travel to the next town over to take advantage of the £3 sales, as I bought my towns stores remaining stock, so it seems theyre either selling really well or they're just getting rid of old stock.

I think they're okay for £3, but I wouldnt want to pay £11 each for them!
