Default Kenwood Chef refurbished motor unit: FTAGH

(they're like buses - only found travelling in groups...)

Chef 902/904 series motor, circa 1984. Here's an example of the model:
https://fixitworkshopblog.files.word...5/img_5462.jpg

This was in a Chef Excel given to my wife as a wedding present in 1984 (yup, 38 years ago!). Down the years it has had little use (she hasn't had time to do much baking!), but about five years ago the motor speed control started becoming erratic, then failed.

In a panic before the annual Christmas Cake Mix was due, I bought a refurbishment kit for the controller and new brushes for the motor. The repair brought it to as-new (nearly) condition, BUT, under instruction, I also bought a more modern motor kit (has extra features), and that was fitted to the mixer instead (and Christmas was duly saved!).

So I have had this refurbished motor, plus a few related spares (including the control knob, motor cover and a second set of new brushes) left over and sitting around.

This lot is all free to a good home, for the cost of postage (ParcelForce or Royal Mail, whichever is cheaper). It will probably fit any of the 900 series models, I just don't know for certain -- up to you to decide.

If you're interested, please message me.

Thanks, S.

Good afternoon, I have a Kenwood 902 that the internal motor fan has come loose on the shaft and could do with a refurbishment. Could I go in the hat if there is one please.
Many thanks,
Christopher Capener

I think you win

I've attached a couple of images (forgot to photograph the brushes but they're included).
You might also find Kenwood Chef Restore useful - it's where the refurb kit came from. I think the motor I have should be a straight swap for yours, however.

Reply if you still want it - I'll get a price for the postage today if I get time.
