Sony SL-F30 Recording problem
Hi at all.
Finally i have find a working video head disk, for my SL-F30. Now it's play fine with great quality, but recording in black and white. It's a fault on a Y/C p.c.b? Thanks at all. Libratron |

Re: Sony SL-F30 Recording problem
Are you sure you have fitted it correctly?
If it's 180 degrees out, that could explain things. |

Re: Sony SL-F30 Recording problem
I resolved.
The problem is a rca cable to input socket, with bnc adapter, not working. Replace with a working cable, now recording with color. Sorry at all. Libratron |

Re: Sony SL-F30 Recording problem
It sounds more likely that you have simply not wired the replacement head drum/disk in correctly. You must make sure that the cables to it are soldered to the correct tags on the head drum otherwise faults like this show up.

Re: Sony SL-F30 Recording problem
Hi Aidan,
I have solder the wire perfectly of the head disk, the problem is the old cable. Testing with my VTC-5150 in (playback o in recording) the image is in black e white. The problem is a my old rca cable. Thanks for interesting. Libratron |
