Re: Bush DAC90A only receives 2 stations
The shunt across the dial lamps is 250 ohm 6 watt, according to my Bush service sheet.

Re: Bush DAC90A only receives 2 stations
It was later changed to a 75ohm and the current limiting resistor to v5 was also changed. I think one service data sheet shows 250ohm and one shows 75ohm.

Re: Bush DAC90A only receives 2 stations
Hi I think you are correct, on my Bush service sheet is it shown as 250 ohm and a picture of another one shows 75 ohm. So you need to double check your chassis values. As a matter of interest are you using the Trader service sheet, if so what is the reference number please.
I’m sure members who specialise in Bush DAC90A can confirm. Cheers John |

Re: Bush DAC90A only receives 2 stations
Trader sheet....scale lamp shunt...R18....75 ohms.
The story goes that the value was changed from 250 ohms to 75 ohms to give the scale lamps a better chance in a hot switch on scenario. In Post#5 here: https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...ad.php?t=97482 Lawrence. Last edited by ms660; 24th Apr 2019 at 3:48 pm. Reason: link |

Re: Bush DAC90A only receives 2 stations
Thank you Lawrence for the info and the link, I’ll put a note on my service sheet.
