Info on Pre war Marconi 709 - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

Hi all,

Is there anyone out there that could help me with my research into the 709?

I was wondering if someone who has one of these would be kind enough to either:-

a, take some high definition pictures of the machine, inside and out and e-mail them to me.

or

b, allow me to view a machine, take my own pictures, ask questions, stare in wonder, get jealous etc.

For the sake of the carbon footprint a machine in London, Hertfordshire or Somerset would suit me best - but I'll go anywhere if necessary.

I should add that this is for my own personal research and will NOT be used for any other reason.
