Default TV24 Picture centreing

Hi Everyone,

I hate to appear dim but the picture on the above set is out of centre.

How do I centre it?

Many thanks

Lee

Perhaps this may help?

Go to http://www.oldtellys.co.uk/otindex.html

Click on Monochrome Tubes.

There's a diagram of a typical tube neck from an old set.

I should know, it's my site!

Cheers,

Steve P

Hi Lee,
not a stupid question with the TV22/24 because it is an unusual, but very effective picture shift method.

Slacken (only slightly) the three brass nuts at the back of the focus assembley. You will find two things that look like screw heads at the back of the focus assmebly, these are cams which you can rotate with a screw driver. One cam is for up and down and the other is for side to side.
When finnished re-tighten the three nuts.

Warning: Whilst the three nuts are slack do not try to adjust the focus.

I hope this makes sense.
