Default Toshiba 4000CDT Batteries

I apologise if this is not vintage enough, but trying to find out details of the two small batteries connected to the motherboard. I know one is for the CMOS Clock backup (3V), but the other appears to have 6 small cells, is this Bios back up? and what is its correct voltage, I cannot find any details on the web.
Any Toshiba guys n gals out there?

With a bit of cleaning due to corrosion on the 6 cell pack, it appears to be made of a Varta 15H NI-MH, these appear to be like hens teeth unless anyone knows an equivalent or a source of supply. Is this the Bios back up battery or clock?
