Default BBC Keyboard

I have just obtained an absolute mint condition BBC B computer, complete in original packing ect. Its hardly been used, and has been stored for about 20 years, i ahve connected it up and although i am still looking for a floppy drive it seems to work fine, only thing is the keyboardi is a bit stiff and sort of sticky, is there any kind of spray i can use on it in safety to free it up a bit. Oh and if anyone out there knows were i can obtain a 40/80 5.25 floppy drive please let me know, not many good ones on Ebay at the moment, and i can't seem to find one anywere.

Hi, I have a pair of cased 5.25 inch 40/80 track (Switchable) drives in a BBC coloured enclosure, complete with cables for the Beeb. Yours for the postage (heavy!) or collect from Corsham. Drop me a PM if of any interest.

Beeb keyboards often improve with use - they're almost indestructable so give them a really good, monkey at a typewriter, type hammering. Getting squirt into the keys can be done though I'm not sure what kind of long term effect it has.

I've got a few beebs and masters, many of which suffered in my house flood. All the keyboards have come back in with a bit of gentle bashing!

I've got one permanently set up in the workshop, with a hard disc attached and a set of programs for working out filter equations! Beats a scientific calculator any day!
