Default Garrard SP4 Turntable removal

I have just taken delivery of a Garrard SP4 deck. It is in great condition but I cannot remove the turntable. Is it just a matter of heat, force and penetrating oil or is it held on in some way? There doesn't appear to be any sort of circlip so I wondered whether it is permanently fastened to the spindle.

4SP you mean?

I think these are a taper fit.

Ah that's why I couldn't find much about it, I was searching for SP4.

Thanks Nick, I have found some photos of it with the turntable removed now. It does seem to be a push/taper fit.
