It is still running well, so (touch wood) looks like the hum issue is resolved.

Some of the soldered connections that were resoldered were not earth/ground connections, but I think most likely the root cause was due to bad ground soldered connection (s).

Final thing to sort out is the tape counter to try and fix the reset mechanism, will get back to that sometime later as other more important things to progress.

Artist was SD77 (Alexander Kunz and friends) from the 2008 Album epilog.
