Are they collectible?

In good condition, they will sell for a tenner a time to radio-hams and [depending on what manufacturer is branded on the glass bottles] potentially a lot more to the audiophool community.

The UX5 sockets and top-cap-connectors are also sought-after.

Offer the seller a tenner for the 'thing', part it out and sell the bits on Ebay; you could raise enough to pay next month's leccy-bill!

It's on Freegle, so FOC. You just have to be the lucky one to be chosen.

I wonder what the chassis is from?

807s (if that's what they are) are super-6L6s with a top cap, used in old school amateur transmitters and high powered audio amps.

The transformer may also come in useful if it has not already been binned

Hello,
As it appears to be a power supply they could be 12E1s.

There's a hint that they have been in service as PSU regulators- whoever acquires them may be lucky, or they may have spent years working their little cotton socks off and be cream-crackered. Good luck anyway, a nice find!

Receiving things which are freely given on sites like Freegle and Freecycle and then selling them on for profit is not good form at all. Depending on the group either your intentions to sell on must to be declared to the donor when you ask for the gift - or - the practice of taking goods for resale is banned.

This forum maintains a small snake-pit reserved for abusers of generosity in the 'offered' section. We're not cruel, they can opt for eternal listening to the same cricket match over and over again.

As the items are now spoken for (hopefully by a forum member) this thread has served its purpose.

Cheers
