Default Collins Television Diary 1962

I found this in a box of my Great Grandfather's (who wasn't a television engineer!) personal effects and I thought it would be worth sharing.

Judging by the contents, it is quite comprehensive. Half the diary is television stuff.

It may have been made by the people behind 'Practical Television'.

That’s in really good condition, worth keeping for the family connection. Thanks for posting.

Very interesting! Thank you from me too.

You have reminded me about the ones I have but I cannot find them with a quick look. They may well be Collins but probably the 1970's. I have an Electronic and Mechanical engineers diaries, both of which have proved interesting and useful over time.

That looks like one of the Philips/Mullard valve charts. I'm not aware of a connection between Collins and Newnes, but they may well have cooperated.

There was also a 'radio diary', probably also Collins, which contained brief valve data and the like. My father had a few (I am not sure why, he was a research chemist, not a radio person really) which I've kept (mostly for said data).
