Default Westminster A165

Does anyone have a service manual or circuit diagram for a Westminster A165S radiogram, that I could copy or buy?
Regards
Peter

Westminster sets often had a circuit diagram pasted to the inside of the case.

If it was inside, it’s been taken.

Hi Peter, best bet is if you post an image of the chassis and tuning dial, plus list the valve line-up. It is just about possible that somebody has a matching chassis in a table model such as the PWR2/1 with circuit. Cheers, Jerry

The RF/IF will be very similar to any late 50’s early 60’s radio using the UCH81 and UBF80. The pair of UCL82 valves I presume are for each channel of a stereo record player working as separate mono amplifiers on radio.

If a circuit is not available a look at any similar circuits should give you the information you need. A radio with UCH81,UBF80 and a single UCL82 will be similar enough. From the photo the component values look readable on the resistors and capacitors.

It’s possible that the output stage is push pull on mono but single ended in stereo but unlikely.

Hope you get the correct info but it looks a pretty standard affair.

Found it. It’s similar to Alba Chassis PW36, but uses UBF80 instead of UBF89.
Thanks for your help.
