Dial glass for Pilot needed.
I'm restoring a Pilot Major Maestro and the dial glass is broken. Is there some way to get the artwork to have it printed onto glass as a replacement? Or any other suggestions!!

Re: Dial glass for Pilot needed.
Hi
I had to make one for a GEC AC38. I scanned the old scale and then used a drawing package on my laptop to copy the data using the scanned image as a mask (very time consuming). I then printed the final image onto an inkjet transparency and taped it behind a replacement piece of glass. Looks OK. Mike |

Thanks Mike, most of the glass is missing, so scanning is out of the question. Maybe someone has an intact dial galss they can photograph and I can get the general layout from that?

Keep an eye on Richard Booths Past Times Radio site. He may be able to obtain one from a scrap set.
