Grundig 4035 Table Radio
Hi. I just picked up a Grundig 4035 W/ 3-D Klang from local car boot at a bargain price. (Less than £20.00) I am cleaning the dust off all the internals and would like to do a certain amount of restoration work on it. Can anyone tell me where to buy the very fine brown linen cloth that is behing the side speaker grilles ? The main grill cloth is as good as they come, which is a blessing, as that is probably unobtainable. The rear hardboard cover is in very good condition with no breaks or tears, but there are two slight curves on both sides where the top fixing screws fit. Would it be possible to lay the board flat with some weights on it, to coax the curved parts back to shape, or should I just be thankful and leave well alone.!!
Any advise would be handy. Mike. |

Re: Grundig 4035 Table Radio
I used a light brown voile curtain on a similar radio.

Re: Grundig 4035 Table Radio
I would be interested to know what type of finish was used on the cabinet, and also how does the brass trim remove?
