Tandberg control panel markings restoration
Looking for suggestions on how to put back the control markings on the aluminium front panel of a Tandberg 4041x. Letraset? Anything else?

Re: Tandberg control panel markings restoration
Search the forum for "waterslide transfers", haven't tried it myself but others have had success making them.

Re: Tandberg control panel markings restoration
I have had good results using Letraset (I think it was called) then sprayed clear varnish over the panel.

Re: Tandberg control panel markings restoration
I have a BSR turntable that all the aluminium and lettering had been damaged by poor storage, I used stick on brushed aluminium effect trim and letraset to restore it as best I could and as said sprayed with lacquer to protect it.
I found letraset easy to use but you need to be patient as it can be fiddly to get right if you see what I mean. Gary |

Re: Tandberg control panel markings restoration
I've also had fairly good results in the past using letraset. it can be quite fiddly agreed, but the results speak for themselves.
