Many thanks Graham. As for other recent instances of the auction, is there a digital auction catalogue please?

Re: Radiophile Auction 15th March 2020
It's a bit of a trek for me, but I may well come and take a look considering the amount of lots.

SEVEN POSTS DELETED.
Firstly, it is inappropriate and unacceptable to slander anyone on this forum. This will not be tolerated. Secondly, there is no government guidance requiring these events to be cancelled at this stage. If people are concerned they can choose for themselves to stay away. But it is not reasonable to use your personal concerns to expect the whole event to be cancelled. Any further discussions about these aspects will result in the thread being closed. |

Re: Radiophile Auction 15th March 2020
No reply from Brian Pallister to an email asking about the auction catalogue.
No catalogue available from the Radiophile website. Despite the lead provided by another thread on this topic, no sign of a catalogue being downloadable. Does anyone, please, actually have access to the catalogue? Thank-you. Regards, Richard |

Re: Radiophile Auction 15th March 2020
Brian Pallister has asked me to let you know that The Radiophile Auction is going ahead as planned tommorow. I have not long left the hall myself and can confirm the auction has over 400 lots so one not to be missed !
There is a excellent assortment of vintage gear, something for everyone in fact. I've attached a couple of pictures taken earlier. Hope to see you there tomorrow morning Terry

Re: Radiophile Auction 15th March 2020
I can certainly say I need to stay away from auctions with interesting lots.
What a superb day and a superb effort from the chap who sat down just before 12:00 and did the entire auction without getting up or having a break. He must have only got out of his seat at around 4pm.

Yes you did alright & got plenty to keep you occupied for a while but its a disease & you will always want more as i told you there are heaps more of test gear to come from that particular vendor. BTW.. All the HRO gear i bought & the mint GEC BRT400D along with the BC-348-O are all fully working result!! Hopefully see you at the next one but Brian said the next one in May maybe cancelled due to the Coronavirus and it was very obvious that numbers of people were down today by about a 1/3, here's hoping things can get back to normal very soon. Re: Radiophile Auction 15th March 2020
I think it was one of the Philips sets without a chassis, wire everywhere joining things up!

Re: Radiophile Auction 15th March 2020
This set is listed in the catalogue as Mullard "no chassis set" (same?) as Philips V7A, inside it did look like this, although a bit of a mess, no back present.
