Default Anyone know what this is for? Identified as the spindle for a Garrard LAB80.

lt came with a load of HI-FI bits and pieces l was given. No idea what it could be.
lf you push the black tip the three petal things retract.

Centre spindle from some kind of autochanger? What's the diameter?

It is a stacking spindle. I think it's from either a Dual or Philips deck, both use very similar ones.

This was part of my record playing equipment in 1966! It is incredibly heavy and sports a pick up arm made of wood! Sorry about the dirty turntable mat. I had to dig it out of s small corner. J.

Definitely for a LAB80, called the 'tripoise' spindle, negating the need for an overarm.
