Solartron SRS 152 Regulated Power Supply
Hi
Does anyone happen to have a manual/schematic for a Solartron SRS 152 regulated power supply by any chance? Any general information also gratefully received, things to watch out for, components that need to be changed out, that kind of thing. Thanks in advance, James MW0ZAP |

Have you used the search facility?
There have been several posts about these power supplies. |

Re: Solartron SRS 152 Regulated Power Supply
That’s fabulous, thanks for the document.
Yes I’ve searched everywhere and it brings up the 153 and the 151 but nothing on the 152. The 152 was often sold as a pair that could be run in series or parallel, but they were also available on their own as this one is in its own cabinet. I think there were less common and I can’t find a schematic or manual anywhere. James |

Re: Solartron SRS 152 Regulated Power Supply
Solartron SRS152 power supply unit.
All I can find is this picture and specification from 1960. I suspect you will find that the SRS151circuit arrangements are very similar indeed, at 500v in 2 ranges, at 300ma, with a negative supply to 500v, 150ma. The SRS152 each unit uses a three way switch for voltage selection to reduce the possible power dissipation at the lower end of each voltage range and many fewer EL37 /EL34 valves. The stabilising circuit will be the same. I tyink you have you have the SRS151 and SRS153 manuals already. I can provide if required. Happily it will not be too difficult to trace out the circuit of the SRS152 from the wiring. Valve based units are so much easier than transistor units on a PCB. wme_bill |
