1985 Bondwell 8 Laptop
Anyone know anything about these things?
http://www.computinghistory.org.uk/d...dwell-Model-8/ I thought I'd binned mine years ago but found it in the loft. I used it to practise morse code using an old DOS program but that was >20yrs ago. Are these worth anything? |

Not really worth anything. If you need to program old Motorola Radios with DOS software it might be useful. If it goes.

Re: 1985 Bondwell 8 Laptop
Thanks for the replies
Yes, it still works but it's pretty slow! The battery is missing but I think it was a generic sealed lead acid type. I was sure I'd thrown it out years ago but wondered if it had gained any value to a collector. It's strong points were that it was totally silent in operation (with the LCD backlight off) and it ran procomm really well and it only required a small amount of power from an external PSU. For what you are likely to get for it I would put it back in the loft and forget about it again.
