Panasonic cf-27 problem.
Although I’m by no means an expert I can usually sort most pc issues out but this has me baffled.
When I boot this early Toughbook laptop it displays the message ‘save to disc feature disabled’. This is immediate, before any attempted boot. In the bios the primary master listing reads ‘none’ and when you scroll down to it, it skips over the hdd entryso you cannot select it. I suppose that’s because it doesn’t see one. A blank hdd results in a message operating system not found and changing to a known good hdd with a Linux operating system that works on my other cf-27, it boots into it but doesn’t work properly and freezes. There is no bios password so it’s not locked. I’ve played with the bios settings but the same error appears. I suspect a motherboard or bios fault. Any thoughts please. I might try and flash the bios if I can find a file. |
