Default Two free valves except for postage

Hi folks, I have here a couple of valves for free, a PX25 and an 807. Now before you get excited they are used. According to the book that came with my Taylor valve tester the PX25 should have mutual conductance of 4, it reads 1.2. The 807 should be 4.1 and reads 3.4. They might be usable I donít know.
I will run a hat if necessary till tomorrow evening. As stated foc except postage which should be around £3.70. Norman

A free PX25, even with low emission, is a very generous offer - I won`t ask to go in the hat as I already have a couple in unknown condition and a couple of NOS, and no particular use for them at the moment.

I would like to be put in the hat for the PX25. I have a HMV 800 which uses a pair although one of them has no emission at all so a chance I could get it going.
Mark.

Thanks

I seem to think that John (HKS) has a radiogram with a push pull output stage where one of the PX25s has some missing filament strings and he doesn't have a spare. The low reading on your valve could well be due to exactly the same fault of course, but you should be able to tell by looking at it when it's powered up. If it were me, I'd be offering it to John first - he may now not want or need it, but worth asking, particularly as he's been happy to offer and send free valves to various forum members over the years to help them out. I note that Mark makes a good case for needing it. Obviously it's yours to do what you like with, so please feel free to ignore my suggestion.
