I went to that all those years ago with my Dad, I would have been 10! They were held at the then "Free Trade Hall" in Manchester, now sadly replaced by yuppie flats or something similar!

I saw it with school at the city hall in Sheffield, it must have been on tour.

Terry, thanks for providing the YouTube link, and I hope all that have viewed the programme on Television Heaven UK (my channel) found it as enthralling as I did.

If anyone fancies a ‘lost’ gameshow as a different type of entertainment, Sale of the Century from Boxing Day 1978 is also available.

Hopefully others are as glad as me that the perseverance to get a working Philips N1502 and N1702 paid off.

I was there! Radio Society trip from Magnus Grammar School, Newark-on-Trent.But I can't remember where it was at!
