Arrow 12 Volt car battery voltage to 12/13,5 VAC 50Hz - 5/6 Watts

Hello!

I need a simple schematic to invert 12 - 13,5 VDC (car battery) to 12 - 13,5 VAC!
Consumption is only 5-6 Watts at clean 50 Hz!
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Regards,
German Dalek

May I ask what it is for? Is the clean bit frequency or waveform?

Good morning!

I have a (once pulled from Stereo assy) good high quality DUAL record player.
It is a really rare 12 VAC powered set.
I am always on the run hunting records on fleamarkets across Germany, France,
etc.
I don`t like these low quality battery-powered plastic record players/destroyers.
So far away from home I like to listen to some records I just have bought.

With a 9/12 VDC RIAA and the amp of a car
radio it will be possible to listen in the car, with a good sound and the (holy )
records cannot get damaged.

Of course I have some 12 VDC / 230 VAC supplies, but I like to do something
with that DUAL 496 RC.

So I am still hoping for a simple solution.....

Regards,
German Dalek

Referencing the circuit diagram it looks like the only part that needs to be 50Hz (or 60Hz) is the strobe light. The rest runs off DC from the rectifier / cap stage.

Might even work off 12 volts from the battery? Or a 12 to 15 volt DC to DC converter? As long as the 'strobe' is not important in the car.

The User and Service manual are both available free online by the way.

Maybe a 50/60 hz timebase oscillator ic could be used for lighting the strobe and it would power from the 12vdc supply.
