Henrys electrical on the Edgware Rd, London, sell a small box that accepts phono and scart line inputs, then sends it out via the RF aerial socket--its nice and small, have a look on their website " catalogue" pdfs.........ianj

In my experience, RF modulators usually don't work well with older sets, they usually overload the tuner and give poor line sync signals, lots of intercarrier buzz and so on

The original start to this thread was because the tuner in the TV has broken and the owner wants to convert the tv to accept baseband video and audio, possibly via a scart lead. For this reason he doesn't need a modulator.
