Radio times ad for a Mastergram
I found this in one of my copies of the Radio Times from 1937 - a full page ad for the Marconi Mastergram. Thought it might be of interest here.

Very Interesting! Did you find that on the web?
The RT archive has the Television supplement but doesn't appear to include that page. http://www.radiotimesarchive.co.uk/download.html Peter |

Re: Radio times ad for a Mastergram
Hi Peter - yes it is from my copy of the Coronation edition of the Radio Times from May 1937 - in the main magazine and not the TV supplement. It also has articles about how they intended to televise the event and an additional suplement detailing TV highlights from the previous months. I have them scanned but have had difficulty attaching them to a thread as the PDF files are too large. If I just attach the JPEG scan then you can't enlarge it to read the text so I thought I could attached the PDFs so they could be downloaded and viewed. I'll do this later

I would love a hi-res copy of the advert to hang next to my 703. If I PM you with my email address, could you send me a copy? |
