Default Grundig TK 40 R2R Tape Recorder Damaged Lid Repair Ideas

The plastic lid is damaged with a chunk missing as per photos.

Trying to think of an easy way to repair, am not worried about trying to match the pattern on the front side, just want to fill the hole.

Any suggestions please ?

I'm not sure whether 'Milliput' is still available. I've used it with success in the past.
I note that the crack on the lid runs further on, so now is probably the time to drill out a small hole to stop it going further!

I've just checked & Milliput is still available & now in various colours. With a bit of luck, you should be able to simulate the textured surface on the original lid.

Thank you David, I have ordered some fine white Milliput.
