Default Telefunken Case problem

I have just picked up a Telefunken Magnetophon 85 with a cabinet problem as shown in the pictures attached. What is this stuff called and where can I get some. I have a couple of the machines with this problem …

I would call that plastic perf (-orated) sheet. We use it at work - but it tends to come with the holes equi-spaced, whereas yours are arranged with holes in paired lines. Googling my term will come up with ideas.
