Default Replacement "Magic Smoke"

Although this type is aimed at the automotive market, I wonder if it may come in handy here - probably only available as NOS now

with thanks to the A30/35 owners club forum for the original image

I suspect that smoke only works for "Prince of Darkness" (Joe Lucas) equipment, not our sort of kit.

It does pop up on auction sites fairly regularly......

I don't think it was him but as soon as I saw the words 'magic smoke' my mind flew back to TVM. Very coincidental that in the space of a few days that I should find a box of these as I have never seen one in my life. It might even have been LLJ himself.

Probably LLJ or Don Bullock - Eugene was fairly serious.

Now, replacement smoke would be more user-friendly if it came in aerosol cans...

Isn't that for testing smoke alarms, rather than fixing smoke deficient electricals?

Used for testing air flow in flues and ducts. The smoke alarm test uses smaller quantities.

We are however fairly well off topic for the forum so time to extinguish this thread.
