Default Nordmende Spectra SK Deluxe Studio Colour Repair.

So I recently made winning bid on this massive, 4 screened Spectra Deluze Studio colour TV set.

I didn’t realise how heavy the thing is, as I carried it to and from the car!

Well anyway, it appears someone’s been in there before, part of a dropper resistor bodged with a modern power resistor, then bypassed all together with a link. Plugs floating around (I’ve connected 1 out of the 2 floating plugs...)

Power supply isn’t happy, not getting any of the correct volts on the power rails...

Question is where do I start? No schematics that’s I can find online for it, but there’s a similar type which is a table model without the extra screens I could use as a guide.

I’m in the process of firstly cleaning and inspecting the what I’m calling expansion boards. Covered in dust and dirt, and one of them has a battery which has leaked...

Here’s a few photos...

I admit to not knowing anything about these sets - apart from their weight!
However that dropper resistor looks completely out of place, so I'd start by trying to find out what the 'repairer' had in mind by fitting it. I hope it wasn't to boost the tube's (the main one!) heater voltage.
Good luck - you're a brave (and strong) man!

Hi,
I have only the schematics for the SK-2 Chassis, the chassis in question.
But not for the 3 small sets and the technical brew how all this fid together.
I cannot scan it before mid June!
You can try RM-org, they might have it, too.
Or you ask here:

or here:

Good luck!
