SONY ICF-1200 repair
Hi all
First post. Got my hands on one of these quality, heavy well built radios. Now there is no power to the unit at all.I have checked the mains lead that connects to the radio and full 230V ac is present. I have also put in brand new batteries and there is still no power to the radio. The radio does not light up in any way and is completely dead. I would like to give it another new lease of life. Can anyone help on where to go next as i dont have a diagram for the radio yet? I am handy with a multimeter if measurements need to be taken. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Re: SONY ICF-1200 repair
"Completely dead" is usually easier to fix than half-dead
The service manual can be downloaded from Elektrotanya
