Default Dynatron HFC38 cassette section

I am restoring this music centre which is fitted with the SRX26 chassis and a modified Philips N2505 cassette recorder.

Someone has cut the Din plug cable that goes from the cassette deck to the main chassis.

There is a separate PCB which is not a Philips one that sits in the corner, There are no diagrams for this.

Does anyone know where it connects to, or better still does anyone have one that they could photograph for me.

Hi Michael are you saying that it was hard wired originally, I would have thought there would have been some remnant of the cable if it was cut. Mick.

Might this be some kind of simple attentuator/pre-amp that matches the Philips record/replay electronics to the Dynatron's audio section input?

The panel doesn't appear to have any active components but it does have a slide switch, I'll have to see what actuates it.

The original cable was a short 4 core screened cable, hard wired to the machine and terminating in a 5 pin din plug.

Here are some phone camera shots of the relevant HFC38 service manual relating to the tape interface board and wiring.

Thank you Dazzlevision, but for some reason the board on mine has a switch operated in playback. I.m going to look into it a bit further.
