Unknown line output transformer.
Picked up this unusual TV line output transformer three weeks ago at Mikey's meet-up in Solihull.
Made in 1959 it's a very compact unit possibly made for a compact portable TV set. Transformer might have been made for a new 110* CRT receiver, or as a replacement part for an earlier model. Can't remember ever seeing this transformer in any of the sets I used repair. DFWB. |

Re: Unknown line output transformer.
With those Plessey top cap insulators it looks like a Decca DM4 series David. John.

Re: Unknown line output transformer.
Hi John,
absolutely correct. I forgot about the Decca DM series. Early production transformers employed an EY51 instead of the plug-in EY86. DFWB. |
