Default FM radio from scratch!

Don't ask why I don't know ,but I felt sorry for the remains of a chassis I had scrapped a Bush vhf 61 , I fancied building a vhf only radio into a Tesla bullet radio case ,it'l be one hell of a squeeze .The mains tx looks a bit ott I need to see if I have a smaller one , the other thing is the tuning heart is permeability tuned not ideal . I need to go on the wanted list .or am I mad Mick.

Default Re constructed radio from scrap chassis.

I had the idea of building a vhf radio to fit the Tesla case I had the donor chassis was a Bush VHF 61 , this is what I did , it was a bit of a squeeze the say the least ,this is the project so far. I don't think I will be using the tuner , I may have a capacitor tuned one coming , Note! the tidy bench Mick.

I’m glad I’m not the only person that feels sad for old disused equipment and has the need to restore such items. I thought it was my own unique form of madness.
