Smile Chassis Stands

I've just made a pair of chassis stands out of some oddments of 6mm MDF. I varnished them, partly to stop the edges from crumbling and partly as additional insulation. I have to say I've found these useful - much better and more stable than the usual oddments of wood. Pics attached. They are about six inches high. I will probably make another pair for larger chassis, but may buy a small piece of suitable plywood as it will probably be longer lasting.

Yes, a few moments making a jig or stand saves so much time in the end.
