Default Marconi instrument mystery object

vintage old marconi instrument , has number of TF711A wondering if anyone knows what this is or may have been used for or possibily part of radio ? as purchased with lot radio parts

Looks like a galvonometer to me.
That is a sensitive centre zero meter.

I can Answer this one!

The TF711A is described in "Marconi Instrumentation" Vol 3 page 36, Dec 1951

It says Suspended Coil Galvanometer of the D'Arsonval type with double taut suspension.

It was made for the TF511D & TF717A laboratory PH meters and was not available as a separate item.
