Commodore Sixty Clone build.
Hi all,
For my birthday my fiancee bought me the new Commodore Sixty Clone bare PCB. Just completed it tonight, spent the last couple of days trying to find out why I had no video - had missed one solder joint It was a friend who spotted it, I must have had object blindness but a fresh pair of eyes was all it took! Interesting and fun build, most of the components are new with the exception of the custom IC’s and a handful of specific bits which were harvested from a dead donor board. Just need a case and keyboard to complete it now (currently using my test machine’s case). If anyone does decide to build one the service manual had the US parts list, the crystal and modulator plus a few other components are different. NOS modulators are currently available on eBay for under £10 so worth picking one up if you intend to have a go at one of these. Cheers, Kev |

Re: Commodore Sixty Clone build.
Great job! Looks like a good way to restore an old 64 with a damaged PCB. Too many get dismantled for parts!
