Default HP 334A meter movement repair or replacement.

Hi,
I have bought an HP 334A distortion meter from eBay.

Unfortunately the meter movement is suspect.

It is a 1mA FSD meter movement.

If I attach a power supply to it I can get it to move to FSD. However just touching the +ve terminal very lightly causes the needle to flick back to zero.

I have tried to re-solder the wire on the rear, and that made no difference. I believe the problem is inside the meter itself.

I imagine it is the wires from the rear terminals to the meter movement that are not soldered on properly inside.

Is there anyone who is able to repair this for me?

Or does anyone have a replacement movement from an HP 334A?

Best regards,
John
