AVO VCM Valve Data Manual
Hello,
Is there a reason for AVO to omit the screen current data in the Valve Data Manual? I have the Fifteenth Edition 1962 2nd Impression. The screen current can be MEASURED with the WCM. All other relevant elctrical data in the manual is printed. But not the screen current. Does anybody know anything about this? Best regards /Lars G |

Re: AVO VCM Valve Data Manual
Simple answer Lars, min ven - the meter circuitry in AVO VCM's is only designed to read the resultant RMS Ia. The Ia being "Peak" 10mS pulses from the 20mS sinewave from 50Hz mains frequency.
AVO's Valve Data Manual is only really meant to be accompanied by their technical manual &/or user's handbook for a specific AVO valve tester. Thats why they all show the 9 thumbwheel switch setting codes which only AVO use. Best bet - get in touch with "Dekatron"(on this Forum) aka Martin Forsberg. Han bode Linkoping. Jag skriva och tala Svenska inter braw. Regards, David |
