Default Ferguson 3047 record player with BSR deck.

Hi.

My son has found my mum's old Ferguson BSR 3047 record player which we have taken apart and cleaned up. The player now works but we don’t have the speakers! Can you tell me how to connect speakers and whether we require an amplifier.

Thanks in advance, Tony.

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Service information for your player is available here:-

Your player has a built in stereo amplifier. It requires a pair of 15 Ohm speakers which are connected to it using two pin DIN plugs. So you're going to need speakers, cabinets, speaker cable (cheap thin stuff will do) and a pair of DIN plugs.
