You're lucky cutting up five tons of logs/naily-scrap-wood/pallets without sharpening or stressing the chain.

It takes about 5 minutes to "touch up" the cutters with a file on a small saw, little and often is the key, blunt cutters increase the chances of an accident, just like it would with any other type of saw.
