Let's not forget that the record deck in A Clockwork Orange was a Transcriptors Hydraulic Reference. A deck that was a thing of beauty that I lusted after so much it almost hurt, but could never afford back then.

A colleague had one and it was certainly fine, but he had the sense to get a nice SME3009 and not the wierd Transcriptors one.
