Default i.d a chip

Just after a second opinion on an SOIC8 chip from an SMPSU.

I think it's a UCC3808 (or chinese clone) but can't be sure.
It drives the primary of a push-pull gate drive transformer from pins 6-7.

It's too small to photograph but I've reproduced the writing here.

Yes I’d agree that’s the one, 3808 pins 6&7 are the outputs so that makes sense.

That looks like the Unitrode logo in the bottom left (the underlined U). I'd say it's a bona fide UCC3808-1. TI bought Unitrode some time ago.
